Detect Land-cover Changes Over Time
DeltaCue software lets you use satellite imagery to detect Land-cover
changes between two dates at the same location. Change is identified
based on the spectral properties of each image pixel once the two
images have been properly aligned (registered) and normalized to
remove atmospheric effects.
DeltaCue is typically used for wide area surveillance. Image map
products can be generated with geographic coordinates of change
features. DeltaCue output can be fused with topographic maps, ADRG
maps, and other types of imagery. For example, Landsat Thematic
Mapper (TM) images covering 10,000 sq. miles each can be processed
to detect change. A large archive of TM images, from 1984 to present,
exists for many parts of the world.
